Why co-housing now? The rapid growth of co-housing projects in Europe and North America is a strong indicator of a groundswell that wants to re-establish a sense of community and human scale. Co-housing is founded on the recognition that we inhabit spaces beyond our individual dwellings, and integrates private, intimate dwelling space with social spaces under the democratic, co-operative control of a supportive community. Co-Housing Bristol welcomes those who wish to work together to live in more sustainable and cooperative ways. Our community is at the pre-construction stage.
